Why did you launch Refabz?
It all began in our refurbishment workshops near Lyon in 2014. We started with an observation: the vast majority of discarded computer equipment is actually still functional or easily repairable! Faced with this ever-increasing waste, the Refabz team was determined to do everything in its power to give this prematurely discarded equipment a sustainable, high-quality second life.
But why did Ma fabrik become Refabz?
This change embodies our commitment to growth, while remaining true to what has been our strength for over 10 years.
Refabz is a more impactful, more universal name that retains the “Fab” root—a nod to our workshop in Lyon, our technical expertise, and our commitment to quality, which remains at the heart of our ambitions.
The prefix “Re” reflects our core mission: to give high-tech equipment a second life, in line with the principles of the circular economy.
With Refabz, we are also reaffirming our commitment to global expansion, with a strong, recognizable brand identity that transcends borders. Our e-commerce site will soon be available in neighboring countries, helping to spread our values and showcase our products.

- All the computer brands you love—we don’t want to get into the PC vs. Mac debate (even though we have our own preference… but we won’t say anything). No hard feelings—we know how to refurbish both!
